Each spring, Scottsdale takes center stage as a premiere destination—and in 2026, the energy returns with even greater momentum during Scottsdale Art Week. Presented by Scottsdale Ferrari, the fair of art and design returns to Scottsdale on March 19-22, 2026, offering a unique opportunity to experience the region’s evolving creative culture just minutes from home—while living in a community that shares the same passion for bold design. The art fair, which aims to become the Art Basel of the Southwest, made its debut in the national arts scene in 2025 with about 14,000 attendees descending upon WestWorld of Scottsdale, expanding the visibility of the region’s vibrant contemporary art offerings. The four-day celebration welcomed some 100 galleries comprising 120 booths from nine countries and showcased historic, contemporary, Western, and Indigenous art through a series of gallery exhibitions, fashion shows, and immersive installations.
“Our goal was to create a high-caliber art experience celebrating both incredible art and the broader culture that surrounds it,” said Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week co-owner Trey Brennen. “After seeing the energy inside the venue and the volume and quality of the works sold, I think it’s safe to say we created something with staying power.” Tanya Weddemire, the founder and CEO of the Tanya Weddemire Gallery said, “Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week was an unforgettable experience in participating in their inaugural show…It was an honor to showcase the works of Guy Stanley Philoche, King Saladeen, and Gregory Saint Amand in this dynamic new market. With one sold-out artist and sales across all three, we connected with incredible new collectors and felt the energy of a truly vibrant event. The warmth, excitement, and support were unmatched, and we can’t wait to return next year.”
The event has already earned praise from the national arts community. Southwest Contemporary calls it “a significant addition to the arts ecosystem of the Southwest, where outdoor art festivals, rather than formal fairs akin to Art Basel Miami Beach or the Armory Show in New York, are the norm.” Amy Gause, a longtime arts supporter serves as director of the 2026 Scottsdale Art Week. “We have a strong collector base and a vibrant gallery scene,” says Gause. “We really want to elevate what we already have here and showcase it on a national and international level, but also bring in new artists and galleries that have never shown here before.” Slated to draw 120 galleries, Scottsdale Art Week 2026 will continue to make its mark on the global arts scene, taking place during one of Arizona’s best travel seasons, with Major League Baseball’s Spring Training, sunny skies and ideal temperatures drawing visitors to the Valley from across the nation and around the world.
