Some places are built to host extraordinary moments. Others become extraordinary because of the experiences they inspire. During the 2026 edition of Scottsdale Art Week, Optima McDowell Mountain™ became exactly that kind of destination, serving as the backdrop for one of the week's most talked-about events: Scottsdale Ferrari's "Art in Motion" fashion show. Set atop the community's rooftop Sky Deck, the evening celebrated the intersection of architecture, fashion, fine art, and automotive design while offering guests a glimpse into the future of luxury living in North Scottsdale.

As Modern Luxury Magazine noted in its coverage of Scottsdale Art Week, the four-day international event welcomed more than 21,000 guests, featured 112 galleries across 123 booths, and attracted exhibitors from 19 countries, firmly establishing Scottsdale as an emerging force on the global art stage. Beyond the exhibition halls at WestWorld of Scottsdale, the celebration extended across the city through exclusive experiences, including Scottsdale Ferrari's Art in Motion event at Optima McDowell Mountain™, which the publication described as a "fashion-forward rooftop spectacle complete with an overwater runway built by The Studio North America and immersive design elements."

The evening transformed Optima McDowell Mountain™'s rooftop into an unforgettable venue unlike anything previously seen in Arizona. Guests gathered beneath the desert sky to experience a floating catwalk spanning the community's rooftop pool, where models appeared to walk across the water while showcasing looks carefully curated to complement the signature color palettes of Ferrari's iconic supercars. Presented in collaboration with Scottsdale Ferrari, Scottsdale Art Week, and Phoenix Fashion Week, every element of the production reflected precision, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design—values that also define Optima McDowell Mountain™ itself.

The partnership was a natural fit. Ferrari selected Optima McDowell Mountain™ as the location to officially kick off Scottsdale Art Week because both brands share a commitment to timeless design, innovation, and exceptional craftsmanship. The rooftop setting offered panoramic views of the McDowell Mountains while showcasing the community's signature architecture, lush vertical landscaping, and resort-style amenities. It was a powerful preview of the lifestyle taking shape here as Optima McDowell Mountain™ grows into a vibrant neighborhood of 1,330 luxury residences across six architecturally striking residential towers.
As construction continues, these moments offer a glimpse of what future homeowners can expect beyond beautiful residences. Optima McDowell Mountain™ is designed as a place where architecture becomes a gathering place for culture, creativity, and community. Whether enjoying rooftop sunsets beside the Olympic-length pool, attending resident events, or hosting friends beneath the Arizona sky, the spaces have been intentionally designed to encourage meaningful experiences, every bit as memorable as Art in Motion.
Scottsdale continues to earn international recognition as one of the country's most exciting destinations for art, design, and luxury living. We're honored that Optima McDowell Mountain™ played a role in this landmark year for Scottsdale Art Week and grateful to Modern Luxury Magazine for recognizing the community as part of the city's evolving cultural landscape. As new residences continue to sell in advance of first move-ins, this extraordinary evening serves as another reminder that at Optima McDowell Mountain™, exceptional architecture doesn't simply frame life's moments—it helps create them.
